Re: Specific Photo of President Eisenhower needed for prop replica
I really like finding stuff like this because it feels so good when you finally succeed. Alas, this was not one of those times. I was able to learn some information that might help you or others find the pic though.
The picture was taken in the Oval Office during one of his radio/television addresses. I am 99% sure it's from his farewell address at the end of his second term as president (January 17, 1961).
These photos are from that address and are found on the LIFE.com archive (the dates on the photos are off by 16 days , I don't know why. There was no address on the date listed). I went through their entire Eisenhower collection but came up empty.

These are also from the same address:

It may not look as though the background of the picture in question matches these, but if the photographer is further to the right like this one was:

You can see that the flag is lined up with the curtain, and another step to the right and his head will be blocking it like it is in the picture:

My second reason for believing it is this address is that he is using a white pen or pencil to make notations. I found this video from the BBC that has a clip that has him holding that pen and seemingly ends seconds before the photo was taken (you can even see camera flashes).

EDIT: The camera flashes aren't really visible in that one but you can see them in this version:

My final reason is that there don't seem to be many pictures of his other addresses with this setup (background, microphones, etc.) because they weren't nearly as noteworthy. The only ones I could find are also in the LIFE.com archives and are from around the same period. Most with him wearing the wrong colour suit or not having his glasses.
I hope this helps, and if I'm wrong, I'm sorry I sent you down the wrong path.
Incidentally, it should be fairly easy to cobble together a reasonable facsimile of the photo using photoshop and the photos available. There are thousands to draw from in the LIFE.com archive.
