ID'ing Vader reveal parts

There's obviously a lot of reveal parts still unidentified, these two I've not come across anyone yet ID'ing yet they seem like something 'commonplace'. If it comes to it I will have these made, they don't look too difficult to manufacture (maybe they were custom made for the film in any case) - but it would be good to hear any ideas out there.

Part 1: Looks to be two parts, is the collar part related to the neck wheels?
The spray/nozzle part could be from anything I guess, some kind of fuel injector or airbrush tip? I've spent some time searching around and there's plenty of things similar, but nothing matching.

Part 2: Some kind of collar or hose filter? The nearest I can find is a flanged bearing. Could be anything though, including custom made.

Another thing I've been pondering over is the mouth keys. I bought this the other day, didn't expect it to match at all, but was curious to compare the measurements of the black keys to the mouth keys. Dimensions seemed pretty close, though would need some work to achieve the correct look. So I guess I will start some detective work on older mini keyboards.

Any thoughts or ideas, or for any other reveal parts?

I'm no vader expert but I recall seeing a post a while back that some of the parts came from a vintage Mercedes typewriter.

Some parts could of been kit bash for parts they had lying around in the prop department or the other option would been custome made parts for the internals.

But the easyiest option would be to get these parts machined:lol I'm thinking of using Russ aka Russrep to make these parts. I've done the templates in CAD for the small speaker parts.

Cheers Neil.

Yes, I recall perhaps the linkages were from a typewriter, I think someone started to look into mechanical adding machines which looked promising (Olivetti?). I did some cursory research myself and it seemed it could be an exhausting battle to get to the bottom. Funny some of the things that turned up though:

I know a VCR was one suspect for the teeth (cheers again for the set I got off you Neil, I reckon they are as good as anyway), but I thought these vintage typewriters interesting also.
Although there's a difference, it's an interesting similarity which might be more similar to the actual prop in other models. (annotations not mine):

And a vintage typewriter undercarriage struck me as a possible source of the Vader chest rods. Again, not this model maybe, but...

After a while I think you just start going a bit insane and start seeing prop parts in everything :confused :eek :confused :eek ..... :wacko

Yeah, have 3ds max on standby, ready to get those elusive parts machined myself if all else fails. Just seems like those parts are right under our noses somewhere. Laughing.
That's an interesting angle, jackdoud, something to investigate. This is more RotJ seeing as Darth Magpie has a RotS reveal thread going.
