Ideas for my costume anyone?

Hello,

I'm new to costume building/making and i find it hard to come up with a theme/costume.

I already have a very nice prop at my disposal and want to make a costume in the same theme.
The prop in question is a Gatling Gun with built in flamethrower :cool, this prop has been used in a show in a theme park.
The gun has sadly been neglected for around 10 years, so it is in itself a restoration project.
I thought that it would be nice to have a matching style costume, but i don't want the costume to be as bulky as a space marine.
I'm around 1.90m tall, which is around 6' 2"

When I see that prop the first thing that comes to mind is like Dr. Karl Ruprecht Kroenen from Hellboy or maybe even like Hugo Weaving's portrayal of Johann Schmidt (Red Skull).

I don't know when I see it I just automatically think like World War 2 Nazi for some reason. It would look pretty sweet with a Hydra Logo on what would be the receiver (if it was a real firearm).

Also it could look cool with a Cyberman build (from Doctor Who). Although it would be out of canon for all of them, it could be portrayed as some sort of top-secret development by the Nazi's/Hydra. You could make it so it was like the precursor to the Tesseract Weapons that Hydra develops, the older now inferior flame throwing gatling gun. Idk, just an idea.

It could also be used with some sort of sci-fi end of the world as we know it Mad Max type stuff.


It definitely is a pretty sweet prop though! How did you end up getting it??


*Also a rorschach would be cool shooting it as well.

*All of them besides the Cyberman would be on the smaller size, no where near as big as a Space Marine.

What an awesome prop. Being a Doctor Who fan I like the Cyberman idea. I also see terminator, specifically the resistance fighters like Kyle Reese. THeir costumes are pretty simple.
