Icon's Robin's Throwing Bird Scratch Build / Research

My most favorite prop is the 1997 Icon's Robin's Throwing Bird. Since I am unable to find one, I am making one from scratch, by pictures only. My understanding is that it is 11 1/2 inches long, and 5 1/4 inches tall. I am making a clay / wood mold of the pieces first and then will cast them out of aluminum. Does anyone have one so I can be sure of dimensions? I have no idea of the thickness, my estimate is 1/4 to 1/2 inch for the wings as they taper down. The center piece size is also a mystery to me. The rise down the middle is something I am still looking at. Also If anyone has one, high quality pictures and measurements would be appreciated. Finally does anyone know how the wings open and close. I was planning on making a custom track with a locking mechanism to lock them both in the closed and open position, with spring action opening. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Right now I have the wooden bases. These are just for shape, not thickness. I realize they are not perfect, but are just a base. I also have the paper over them to simulate the finished product. In a few days they will be topped with clay, flipped and the other side covered for a full piece.
