Icons Noisy Cricket

Hello to all I just joined and a question for you on an Icons NOisy Cricket that I just got. Does anyone know what type of batteries go into it,the Icons literature that came with it said to return to Icons for battery changes or the warranty will be void. It has two little round holes in the grip that looks like 2 small ones go into it. There is no battery holder in it just a pos and neg wire in each hole. Any Help would be appreciated.

Congrats for getting one... I have been waiting for mine since the 90's from Icons! Just had to say that... Icons Authentic Replicas or better known as Crooks Authentic Replicas took many of us for thousands of $$$ after they filed for Bankruptcy & continued to accept payments knowing they were NOT going to fulfill orders! :angry :angry :angry

I know I have been reading all the bad things that happened to people from their company. I started collecting props just a few years ago. I feel bad for everyone that got taken. But being that said I just think that their props and displays are so cool. I also have the Lost in Space Jonathan Harris signature pistol and the Predator Bio Helmet from Icons. I am always looking for any T2 Icons or Timeless props that become available.

I agree that was a more of a joke than anything. Anyone have any info though on the batteries required. Thanks again.

Hi,

I will try to tell you that later today..but yes two small batteries inside the grip.
And yes, Icons replicas are still some of the best :cool

I am always looking for any T2 Icons or Timeless props that become available.

I am the same. Ive only been into prop / prop replica collecting for a coupla years but find Icons / Timeless props some of the most desirable and with my Termi display being the biggest part of my collection, I always keep my eyes open for that elusive piece. Managed to track down the Timeless T1000 Claw (Prototype #3/3. Signed by VP Mike Currie) and its defo one of the top 3 pieces in my collection and that is mostly down to its rarity..........and coolness of course!!cool
