I try to make Spider-Man

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

No new pictures this time. I haven't made a lot of noticeable progress. I had to re-sew the finger tips. Not an easy thing. Now they look much better though. I also hemmed and finished drawing the web lines on the mask.

I'm still trying to figure out how to paint the back spider red. I would like to have this done in time for Halloween. Here's hoping.
 
I did not finish in time for Halloween. Got close enough that I still wore it though. I went around with no soles or web lines on the boots. Worked out well enough.

I did get some things done that I can show you. Painted the back spider and glued it on the suit.

I used this FlexiDip rubber coating spray.

I think it worked out nicely.

Since then I have glued the soles on with a chopped down shoe inside to give it a good shape. I stood in them for a while and used rubber bands and tape to keep it all together.

It looks a little sloppy, but it worked like a charm.

I am still in the process of drawing the webbing on the boots. Had to take a break to put a new roof on my house before the weather gets nasty. Life happens. Hopefully I can have it all done in the next week or so.
 
It's been a while, and I'm still not done. That left boot still needs the webbing. My fabric marker dried out and I haven't been back to the store to get a new one.

Everything else is pretty much done though. And just to tide you over til I actually finish and can get some photos with a decent camera, here are some cell phone pics.

I have a little work to do on my physique, but I'm really pleased with the suit.
 
I have a question for you RPFers. What do you use for anti fog on lenses or visors, or what have you? If I ever breathe out through my nose it's like Silent Hill in there.

I got this anti fog swim goggle cleaning spray that is utter garbage. Only works for about 10 seconds. Which is an improvement over instant blindness, but still completely unacceptable.

Any recommendations on a quality product at a reasonable price?

Rain-x might work. I don't want to have to buy different products just to find out they don't work very well for my purposes. It's just a waste of money.

Can anyone tell me something they have actually used that keeps lenses from fogging? I can tell you not to use this stuff.

Ok let me clarify. I have used rain x on the interior of my race helmets in heavy humidity and rain for many years. They are lexan and buff out. Not sure how well it will buff out for you. Will it work on your lens? I cant say for sure. You might hit up the local motorcycle shop and ask. They may even let you try before you buy.

I went to FanX in Salt Lake City this past weekend and had me a blast! This was the first time I had worn the completed suit to an event and it went really well. (The zippers for bathroom access were a huge bonus.)

There were a few professional photographers there taking photos of cosplayers, so I got in on that action. Here are a few of their shots showing the finished suit in all it's glory.
