I tried Mk8 Helmet but i coudn't WIP

Hi everybody, i tried mark8 helmet. Base of helmet is cardbox. I use polyester for top surface. But it is too rough. I coudnt use fiber paste. Some body help me what is my fault.

I would suggest, trie something easy to start with. Practise pepakura and dont rush things.

Too many people think that their first try will be "the one".

It won't.

Mine, and many other's too. It's just how it is.

Keep practicing, and keep going. Hell, your second or third may not be that great either (mine weren't). But, if you keep at it, one of them will be.

Spending a lot of time on the pep work will pay off when you move onto the next stage. Looks like you used pretty thick cardboard for the helmet which might be making it more difficult to pep with . Maybe try cardstock or have a look for some foam files , the foam is pretty easy to work with and can give smoother curves if your not planning to use fibreglass,

But as the rest have stated try again and you will improve patience always provails in the end some of the guys on here will spend hours/days on pep work alone. and lost up your work man we will help as best we can
