Hi, I need the help for build ironman armour for my child 5 years, I need the plans for pepakura but with the scale for my kids I can not the scale for armour and my two try for build is a error, pls I need help

For chest armpit to arm pit enter in width. Forearm elbow to wrist. Shin knee to ankle. Helmet chin to top pf head. Thigh hip to knee. You can measure in inches or cm convert to mm. Bicept shoulder to elbow. If the back and chest were 3D modeled together take the scale on chest and enter for the back. Hope this helps. Idk how to scale shoulders. There are some vids on youtube.

I would scale the pep as mentioned above then look for areas you can simplify. I just did a Daedric build for my son (aged 8) and when you shrink a pep from adult to child size some of the pieces are just plain pointless and crazy small.

For you own sanity I would not recommend building purely from a scaled down pep if you can avoid it.

Good luck.

A quick way to do it is to print the template out as a PDF from pepakura using CutePDF. From there, I just print out a pdf at a smaller size. Not the best approach but works out fast .

As a heads up, I would print out foam templates and staple them together to gauge an accurate size. I've built Mark 7 suits for my son and daughter and found the stapling method works out best. Takes a few minutes and you can determine if you need to go bigger or smaller before starting the hardcore build. Of course I don't recommend building the entire suit this way, just major pieces so you can determine size. Keep us posted.

Best of luck boss

I can only imagine the sorrow when I take a few months to build one for my future kids and then they've outgrown it :)

But seriously, just do tests with different scales and building. I'd recommend foam instead of pep, it will save you a lot of headache in the long run. Plus it will most likely scale easier
