I need a Red Power Ranger Costume

Hello! My nearly 4 year old son is kookoo for cocoa puffs over Power Rangers. I need to find a nice Red or Black Power Ranger Costume so I can wear it to his Birthday Party. I've got time, if there's anyone here who can make it or knows someone who can. I would really appreciate it. I'd prefer the Dino Thunder one since that's his favorite show, but beggars can't be choosers!! I'm not expecting it to be cheap. Let me know if you can help me out!! Thanks!

Expect to pay a couple hundred for the spandex (tech_styles will help you out) another $400+ for the helm, a few hundred more for the boots and gloves (accurate ones are only available from Japan) and then any accessories on top of that.

I got my shadowranger costume from him. Wasn't the greatest with communication, and it took a while for him to get it to me, but it was a great costume.

Most of HeroCosplay's buyers are first-time ranger costume buyers. They have no real experience with Ranger props, nor have the experience to know what to expect, so they tend to give good reviews to HC's products.

To the experienced Ranger collector, HC's products are crap. Spandex shouldn't drape, to beging with. At Rangerboard, there are a few HC costumers who are replacing their HC costume parts, one by one, with higher quality replicas.

If you are a collector/fan, which I don't think you are, then HC will not sufice.

If you need a costume as a 1 time thing, then you might as well go with HC. They are the only ones who provide full suits with fitting boots for American sizes, although their boots are the worst part of their costume.

I totally agree with you. If you really need one for a one time thing like was stated, ok. But now that i have more experience in the costuming world now, I don't think i will get one from him again. And the spandex suit did not sag on me. :lol. I think the reason for the sag is because his models are like 130 pounds.

But anyway, i hope you get what you are looking for in time for your event.

Thanks for the responses folks! I've checked out all the recommended forums and sites. As I'm not going to be acting on TV or trying to win costume contests at a PR convention, I'll probably accept the slight lack of accuracy and go with Aniki on herocosplay.com. I couldn't find any people willing to make the full costumes I need (I need Operation Overdrive Red and Yellow Rangers). Everyone said I'd have to piece it together from different people. I'm too busy to do that, so Aniki is the only one-stop shop I could find. Anyhow, if you guys get any new ideas I'll be very appreciative. Thanks!
