So I purchased this maybe a year or 2 ago from a member here, and was wondering if anyone could help me shed some light on this.. I have never seen another before, and curious as to who made it, etc. I dont remember who I purchased this from

I'm giving you one galactic standard week to surrender that to me. :lol

OT: That is awesome.

Based on the color of the metal and the brazed joints this is probably sterling silver or nickel silver. It could also be a different base metal with silver plating.

A quick google search led me to instructables.com and someone named "Jerome" who made one that looks very similar back in 2006. I'm not entirely sure if it's the same one, but he said:

I made the entire thing from sterling silver. I cast the top frame and hand fabricated everything else. It was then joined together using both silver solder and by laser welding so heat wouldn't destroy the marble inside the lower frame.

In any case... I want one. :lol

Wasn´t David aka Boba Dept doing a run here on the RPF some years ago?

Nice charm, but why the hell does the galaxy NOT LIGHT UP!?!?!?! :rolleyes

Couldnt this be cast in two halves, use a found marble
and the glued together?

Cast in sterling?

Who is going to take this on?

I Want One!!

I remember seeing this piece on the RPF but I don't remember a run. Sorry, I don't know who made it.

Why not go to the source who made Orions Belt for the film, and see if She offers replicas. Her name is Heidi Nahser. She worked on both MIB films. She made Orions Belt, Jeebs's bling, Agent K's knife, the Charm Bracelet in MIB 2. She also did the jewlery for Wild Wild West, Master and Commander, and The Patriot.
