I Have No Idea Where To Start!?!?!

Im completely new at this. I thinkin' of making a Scar bio but dont know where to begin! A couple questions I have.
1.what clay do I use?
2.What do I use to moothen out the clay after Ive got it into the shape I want?
If you can answer then it will help me alot. I have to remind you that this is my first bio that im making so give me as many tips as possible.

i'm suprised no one has answered this yet.

you've propably read alot in here and already know this, but im gonna give u an answer anyway ^^

its very easy. u can use whatever clay u prefer. one of the most common are the Chavant NSP medium.
i dunno if u guys from the UK can by this at the next door shop or anything, but i found mine at http://www.mouldlife.net/index.asp
the ppl who work there are really great and helpful (its in the UK as well)

to smooth out the clay later on, u have to use alcohol. not your whisky! thats for drinking U have to use Isopropanol or other alcohol with a high %. i bet u can find that in ur local hardware shop

i hope u got some tools to carve details and stuff, it makes it much easier! and make sure u know beforehand what size the bio has to be. nothing sucks more than to spend hours working on a thing, and then later find out that it doesnt work! hehehe
