I have a dream!!!!

...and the tail...

Well...so far...Im very pleased. We have realized that we have some choices with the differences between the CG models and the 1:1. I think for the interior we will do our best to do the 1:1. For the exterior Im leaning towards the detailed CG...what do you all think?

sounds like the best of both worlds, thats what I'd do...

Hi Coby.

The tail end actually wasn't as difficult as it looks; the cabin and the main hatch however... What a FRACKing pain those were :lol

I think the wings will work out OK for you though. I did quite a bit of head scratching on them. Let me know if you need more info.

Well...hope you all approve.

Approve .?.? H*** yes . It's great to see these projects coming together. The detail and quality of the work speaks for itself. Being a scratch builder myself, I know what goes into this kinda work and it's wonderful to see it happen. Because of guys like you, Frank and Morten, and Kip, a lot of people are getting their hands on "dream kits" ... and it's really nice to get a kit of the ships you love from a show or movie, while it's still on the air.
For me at least, it has been a very happy and inspiring summer ... takes me back to the 'old days' of Star Wars, Buck Rogers, Space 1999, and Battlestar... when I could watch the show, then go out and get the kits. ... and from the comments of others, I think a lot of people feel the same.
Keep on inspiring us .

BEAUTIFUL.................... Why, oh why did they muck up that design with the bubble canopy though, she looks even better with that flat look that she has now.

Yeah...while I understand the functionality, I prefer the appearence of the flat canopy as well.

I actually question the functionality. The pilot's head is nowhere near the front pane of glass. I think they threw that in there to set it apart from the Aliens dropship profile. That or they needed it a bubble for camera work.
