I am working on a costume for my son for halloween. (quick question about wiring)

If this is not the correct place to post this could somebody let me know. I could not find an area for just for electronic wiring.
I have two of these computer fans.

and these are its specs

These have to be mobile (being used as part of a Halloween costume)

I have two questions.

*Note these do not have to be running all the time. I am going to have them connected to a trigger to just press and let go as needed.

Can I just use an 8 AA battery holder (one for each fan) to power these. Second can they be wired together to be turned on by one switch?

8 alkaline AA batteries will give you 12 volts and around 2500mAh. Wiring two of those fans in parallel means the power requirements jump to .4A so you'd get about 4 hours of constant run time.
