Hunter's prey progress thread--~~UPDATE~~--

Oh, I should mention that I didn't make the bio. Daywalker did. I think it's a pretty good first try at making one, so I'm going to hold onto it as a "trophy" of hunting a badblood.

Andrew, it's funny you're so generous..... my birthday is March 18th

well then...happy birthday...

go easy on the... RULES!!!!...i rule nothing.

And to daywalker i would say A for effort and keep trying.

You rule in the "de-gift/re-gift" aspect of costuming

I know that this is on the Lair somewhere, but there's too many results for "celtic".... is it a finished bio?

then you can only get better DW...trust me, i think the first thing i ever made .......exploded.

we're all here as artists with a passion to keep stepping up our game.

dude,,.... joke

my very first efforts were not great...but i learned more and more

That's actually pretty good, bro. Don't sell yourself short...... of course, the new suit does blow it out of the water

so...... when can I expet to see the Celtic bio on my doorstep?

wow that last comment was amazing! I love the costume though! Nice work and I think you are doing great.

I wouldn't shoot your work tho... Maybe just hang it up or like you said, use it as a trophy pualdron.

Shortly after i ship it............

ummm yeah ok ...let me get right on that for you...

hopefully it will help you on your path to a better suit...you still have tons of work ahead of you.

Smart ass-OUT

you sound alittle pushy kid, someone giviin you summin free, be gracious eh

its a big leap in quality for your suit, which will only serve to make it even better

nice move Andrew.

Don't mean to be pushy, just excited.

Not every day a celtic falls into my lap.

Andrew, I was kiddin' with you. Don't think that I'm rushing.

If it wasn't for this site, my suit would probably be 100% rubies.

It's the well-written tutorials, the fine members, the generosity, and most of all, the feel of the site that makes me hang around and keep pushing forward with my suit.

I think I foudn a quick fix for gauntlets.

A while back I had tried to make a wearable Optimus Prime out of cardboard...well, it failed, but the arms survived the experimentation.
I went and dug out the section from elbow to wrist and checked....... It will hide the overlap of the hands and arms.

Next problem: The legs. I found a tutorial for a muscle suit intended to be worn under a spandex suit, but I think it will work for the predator:
http://theleagueofheroes.yuku.com/topic/1905

I'm using the same top for my upper torso, so I think I can pull it off.

Unless someone has a link to muscle legs along teh same vein............

Alright, I was playing around in the basement and threw these together.
The blades are from a previous project.

These did ahve red construction paper covering them.... Started an Optimus Prime costume and it just went downhill.

These are just a temporary fix until I can afford a better set.

They will be covered with.... something... probably foamies. Then they will be spraypainted with Krylon Hammered Copper. Kind of a P2 color scheme.

I know it's crappy, but at least it's progress :)

Yeah, you could use those.
They look pretty easy to modify.
Just cut off the top, spray it silver and weather it, then to make it fit you better, use a pringles can at the bottom.
Easy.
