how would you go about making a b movie bubble helmet on the cheap?

Im working on a project related to fallouts Captain Cosmos in world tv show and need to make his costume



Im not sure how to go about making the dome, and can only afford to spend 20-30$, luckily material quality isn't really an issue since it really just need to survive one or two shooting sessions

There should be acrylic globes about the right size that are made for outdoor lights and stuff. How big does it have to be?

use the Globe for the helmet and the form for the collar piece.
