How was Han shackled before the FREEZE ?

This got me wonder when looking through the great build of the HIC . How did he get his hands up in the final position. Was the shackles at the wrists or higher ? Did the Ugnaught release him ? I don't have good screen caps, but his hands are down and together it seems while he is going in and he never raises his hand in that freeze scene..

Am i being to picky..just always wanted to know what everyone else thought

Ugnaught takes off the shackles, but no, you never see him raise his arms.

Just the edit. No mystery here.

There were wrist shackles which the Ugnaughts did remove, but something that has always puzzled me are the elbow/shoulder restraints which were there in Empire but mysteriously gone when he's released from the carbonite in Jabba's palace in Jedi... :confused

I always figured those were made of carbonite and dissolved away with the rest and he thawed.

I too always wondered where the mid chest restraints on his arms went. The "Special special special special edition" DVD/blu-ray/.45 rpm record edition will have it back on him when he is unfrozen, but Leia will be digitally modified to show her cutting it away with a tiny lightsaber style pocket knife. She'll say "You're free of the carbonite (and added in will be the following) and those pesky chest restraints. I bet they itched like a flea on a wookie wearing those things all this time, huh?"

I didn't know they removed the shackles at all, I just figured the freezing process destroyed them. But not his belt buckle....... I didn't say it was a good hypothesis.

I want to know how he changed his shirt. The one he had onbefore freezing is different that the carbonite one.

I was wondering WHEN someone was going to bring up the more obvious screw up.

Yet another reason TESB is NOT the best Star Wars movie. So there. :lol

I was going to say... yes, the restraints around his arms are gone when he's unfrozen... and his clothes change. His hair appears longer too.

Heck! Where did the box he was in come from anyway? I didn't see anything in the chamber when he was lowered down there.

Obviously Fett's power went out on the Slave I somewhere between Bespin and Tatooine, and Solo defrosted. Fett managed to refreeze him, but only after a series of hilarious adventures.

:lol The other night I was watching 'Return Of The Living Dead' your post reminded me of that scene of the three 'Uneeda' employees trying to restrain that reanimated naked dead guy in the freezer.
I can imagine Han accidentally thawed out in some sort of carbonite induced delirium, bouncing around the hull inside of the Slave One as Boba Fett tries his best to get him under control. :lol

:lol Flailing around, breaking things in the ship.....

Fett: "No! Not that! My mother gave me that! You filthy smuggler! What will I tell my Mom?? Nooooo! Put that down! I made that in clone school!"

A man in a dress don't scare me!

The ESB shirt/shackles were correct... ROTJ and Richard Marquand screwed it up!

Wrong. The carbonite prop has the wrong shirt. So it was Kirshner that didn't notice the difference, completely ruining the movie. Because ten seconds of something stupid completely ruins a movie...right?!?!?
