How to size a spider man suit?

I recently purchased a Spider Man Dye sub suit file, and i know I will be sizing it with Gimp 2. My problem is, the file is sized at 5'10 and 32 inches in the waist while I am 6 foot tall and 32 inches in the waist. I know how to size the suit, but how tall should i make the file if i want it to fit me (should it be longer than 6 foot because of the feet sticking down?) Again, all i need to know is that if I'm six foot, how tall should the suit be sized to?

IIRC there is a method that involves the measurement between the nose and the lowest point of the belt. If you adjust the suit proportionately so that distance matches a given value (which I can't recall) then that takes care of the height. The width (waist, chest etc) is adjusted when sewing together. Try the search facility - there's a thread here somewhere that lists the 'values'.

Thanks! Ive been looking around, and what i saw is that it said that a suit 5'10 should fit someone all the way up to 6'1.... if my suit is measured at 5'10 and I am only 2 inches taller than that, do i even need to size it up anymore?

lycra stretches quite a bit so a suit can fit within a 2-3 inches body difference, now if your smaller it's a different story, better a bit smaller then too big.

Alright I know you got this from that Spidey Boone guy on eBay because I bought the same exact pattern file, just a friendly word of advice do not!!!! Get it printed just the way it is, trust me I did it with his symbiote file and got screwed over big time with the size, I'm 6 foot even and the print came out to be for someone that's maybe 5/6. So it does need to be fitted to your body size but besides all that I really wanna see how your print comes out dude cause im gonna be doing that one as well when I get some more cash. Good luck
