How to glue Die Cast

I have a diecast or possibly pewter/zinc part that I want to glue to a steel part. SO far none of the adhesives (Crazy glue, CA glue, JB Kwik Weld) I have used have worked. They all stick to the steel side but not the diecast piece.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, JB weld didn't work?

Maybe try to regular JB weld. I seem to find its better than the Kwik. Try roughing up the surface of the die cast part so the glue has something to hang on to.

Yup, definitely rough up the parts.
That two-part epoxy that comes in clear plastic syringes might work, too.

Liquid Nails? Also, remember to lightly sand the surface of the bond area. Makes a worlde of difference.

Oh, and there is always duct tape. You might want to try that.

You might have to drill & pin it if there is room to do so, then JB weld regular or even thread the pieces and use a threaded rod between.
