I'm looking to make a lifesize Iron Man, but am wondering how to go about a skeleton/frame. The mannequin route is expensive, and seems fairly constricting with whatever proportions/dimensions are for sale.

Any suggestions on how you'd go about making some kind of lifesize skeleton/frame? You don't have to give specifics, but any thoughts/ideas would be great, especially if you could list out a few steps or ideas on how you might go about it.

    Thanks!

Here's a tutorial on how to make a duct tape dummy to mount your armor on. Hope this helps and best of luck with it. :D

I've seen Sean Bradley's tutorial before. It's a really good one too.

I know I'm not the OP but this is a great link, thanks! Now to just find some close friends to help with taping...

You could also use PVC pipe to make it, then 'flesh' it out with paper, cloth, etc.
