Hi

So ive built be an Ironman armour (who hasnt right!) and right now its just sat there in its raw cardboard form. I have decided to coat it in polyurethane resin (just like xrobots and many others do to their foam costumes) My cardboard costume is pretty tough and ive experimented to make sire its the right stuff after buying a small amount and was happy with it.

I just need to know how much will i need? I need enough for 3 coats (1 on the inside coz cardboard + sweat = disaster, and 2 on the outside) and I dont wanna just go out and buy xKG of the stuff and then find I dont have enough, or worse still have ordered too much and wasted my money.

I have found this 5kg kit
Fast Cast Polyurethane Liquid Plastic Casting Resin Kit 5kg 4.75 litres | eBay

and im hoping someone will chime in and say its far too much as its £70 O_O

Just to clarify, this is polyurethane resin, i am NOT usinf polyester resin and i am NOT using fibre glass.

Thanks
