How long and wide would the thighpads need to be?

Right now I'm still slowly working to get a final custom predator design, current WIP is the thighpad design. I settled on the shape and all, but the measurements is a thing that bothers me a bit. Too long and it might compromise range of movement, too short and it wouldn't get noticed.

Right now I have it 27.5cm long * 16 cm wide or 10.9" long * 6.3 wide, what do you guys think?

Seems about right to me, a bit longer might work too.
