How do you decide where to cut when cutting out eyeholes on a silicone mask? I'm making a form fitting mask cast off of a bust of my head and I don't want to screw up the eye hole placement. How should I go about doing this? When the mask is pulled from the mold, the closed eyes will still be there of course, but I'm not sure how far up or down I should cut.

Thanks!

normally i cut more on the top part of the eye than the bottom. you want the bottom to come up pretty close to your eye. if you are using a life cast of yourself you should have a pretty good idea of where to cut. cut small at first. put the mask on then then look in the mirror. then trim alittle at a time till you get the correct fit.

hope this helps. and good luck.
