How do I remove the orange plug from my MR trooper blaster

Anyone have a good tutorial on how to remove the orange barrel plug from a MR Stormtrooper blaster without damaging it? Any help would be appreciated.

I drove a short pointed screw in to the center of mine and pulled it right out with no damage to the blaster.
