How do I frost clear plastic?

Very Light sand paper - wet and dry...

Testors Dullcote works nicely too if it's a small piece that you can spray evenly.

Sandpaper's the easiest and cheapest - probably the most consistent too...

I have tried both the sanding and spaying (with Dullcote) and I think the Dullcote is easier, and more consistant. It really does look like frosted glass. Give both a shot and see what works best for you.
I will never forget my first discovery of the dullcote method, on accident, with my 89 Batmobile - suprise, frosted windows!:lol

There are... Just pop into the spray paint seciton of a craft store. They have sprays specifically designed to "frost glass".

I used some glass frosting spray paint for my cosmic cube.

do not use sandpaper, use scotchbrite pads finer result and conforms to curves much easier and no gouging

if it is acrylic, aka Plexiglass...then just get some 400 grit sandpaper and an orbital sander and you are good to go. Thats what we used to do for skylights back when i was working at a fabrication shop.

If you screw up, just wash off and give it another shot.
