How about this for a prop sale?

Article says he became $70,000 richer. If he got $60,000 and had to have paid something reasonable for it in the first place how does that add up to $70k?

Like Jedirick said, the numbers are a bit off, but I applaud the kid for making a good investment, even if it wasn't planned that way.

Don't forget exchange rate. It sold in US dollars, and the article (and the guy who sold the truck) is in Canada.

I can only imagine if he advertised it better how much more he would have gotten.

Put it in the "movie props" section. ;)

Is it stated anywhere how much the kid paid for it?

Slightly off topic but just curious, how much does this model of truck go for normally?

In Cdn dollars its $70,033. He paid under $10,000 cdn for it. I believe it was in the range of $5-6000. Thus his education fund just got taken care of...
