The idea is to build a diorama of Hoth for the 40 Years of Empire.
Including a working Ion canon lazer turrets one AT-AT one AT-ST and a few snow speeders.
I have had printed the lazer turrets 4 off but I think I will be only using two of them.

Just a small tip when heating plastic to form over a mold always remember to make both surfaces as clean as possible to prevent the anything from being transferred through the plastic.

Below is a sticker on the plastic, I didn't see when I formed the sphere.

For vacuforming the hemispheres, what thickness plastic did you use?

I've been trying to get a good pull of much smaller ones but I keep winding up with the very top of the hemisphere being way too thin

Also, I would be interested in the turrets as well

I am using 2mm thick HIPS plastic sheet.

What is your heat source for heating up the plastic?

I drilled the hole in the ball 52mm and the angle of the center equatorial plane is 45-47deg

Then I drilled the same size hole into the formed spheres so I can line up my marking out to the hole.
