Hot glueing spandex?

I'm trying to make a Spiderman costume using two spandex body suits, however I don't have a sewing machine to do so and I heard that hot glue is good for attaching fabrics. If hot glue doesn't work, I'm open to suggestions

I tried. Its really really really uncomfortable, it looks bad. I had to remove the glue and ask someonde to hand-sew for me...
