Hot Glue & Leds

I'm attaching an led to a battery and I was wondering if hot glue would work to fasten the wires to the two led prongs. I just need something to hold the wires in place once they're attached.

Not really. Even holding a wire firmly against the LED prong doesn't work nearly as effectively as soldering it. You can buy a cheap soldering iron from radioshack for $10-15, just do that.

Crud, was hoping for an inexpensive quick fix. Well, I'll see what i can dig up.
