i have been working on this for a few weeks now (no one has made a replica so i though i would give it a try) though i would share some pictures of my WIP.

any suggestions comment are appreciated, ill have some more pics up later today of the mould max and tomorrow of the cast piece in Onyx

i just spread on the Mold Max 30... didnt realized it had a 45 min pot life when i bought it haha or i would have also bought an accelerator, i spent the last hour fighting with it, dosnt help i live in the florida heat and was working in my garage too... anyways here are some pics of my mess. tomorrow will be a plaster shell adventure!

Looks like it is coming out really good just keep on it and it should turn out fine.

so i had today off and tried a different method... one that worked! i took the original piece and cut it up into smaller pieces to make molding less difficult. heres a pic of the 5 molds i made from it

tomorrow i will clean up the pieces and start preping for paint, only thing i have left to figure out is what to use over the handle? i bough some black leather but it looks more glossy like a vinyl cloth or something, any ideas?

i havnt figured that out yet. i was thinking there was probably going to be options... just the dagger finished/ unfinished (mold pulls) and 1 more option that would include the ransom note framed with the dagger threw it.

ill have some more pics and updates on tuesday

heres an update... thanks for the interest its motivating me to work on it more

i worked on getting at least 1 good looking dagger painted today, i think it looks really good so far. here are a few pics. i will try to put the hand grip and final touches on it in the next few days.

next week ill work on getting the note and frame done

I think id rather have it stuck in the door than in a case/frame. That'd be how id display it. and on that note... is there a way we could get these made with an actual metal blade?
 
Just a detail, you forget red eyes !
I don't know why the Tony Swatton don't have red eyes. Maybe it's was just for the filming.
