So I was looking on ebay and what do I see when doing a PKE meter search?

I see this for sale from ebay seller "linkproductions".

I contacted linkproductions for additional pictures to which linkproductions sent this.

I asked him,
"What does your wing master pattern look like?"

linkproductions reply was,
"i dont have a pic of it"

Hmmmm.

Linkproductions was doing the rounds in the whole GB community a few months back with Iona castings lots of very slow delivery complaints...

Looks like a dead on recast of the wings to me, kinda hard to get something so damn close without recasting... And I wonder if that top part is a recast as well, the picture is pretty blurry but I have my doubts as to originality...

Also TheSt.LouisKid you are the man behind the "REXBOX" gun/wand body kit correct? If so please drop me back a line as I might be interested in getting one...

Quite simply its clearly copied exactly from your pieces.

I bid on a copy of the wings he has on auction so I can examine them first hand.

Yeah that is the beautiful REXBOX, top notch build and casting...

I have one in front of me that I'm supposed to build up for someone and when I opened the box I was almost floored at the quality of the castings, and discovered I needed one of my own...

I will complain a little in that I'm not real fond of no access from the bottom (short of cutting up the casting) as is, but that's the only complaint...

Also I have to ask were the grips done on a CNC of some type or scratch built, they have an almost too "perfect" symmetry to them?

I just ran a test fit of my new gun/wand light kit in your box last week and even inquired to who made the box on Proptopia a week or so ago...

Perhaps.

In his 18 emails to me he has not sent the pictures I asked for.

He did send this photo.

I really must admit that the cobra logos in this picture above do not look like my wings at all...but then what do cobra logos have to do with wings? Who knows?

I made the bottom with no opening so anyone assembling the parts to their own preference would not be locked into my idea of an access opening. For example, a person with a lesser skill lever may just want a smaller opening to simply replace a 9volt battery. Another person may want a larger opening for changing out an entire board, bulbs, etc. Because of the electronics on my gun I have it opened down the right side from front to back with a panel intact along the left side(does that make sense?).

Thank you for posting pictures. I have been wanting to see what has become of the REXBOXs.

Linkproductions- member to member, I'd suggest you contact the RPF staff by PM or email. I'd also suggest you consider posting here. This thread seems very sound and I'm sure anything you may have to offer will be assessed fairly.

Your silence will eventually cause some to draw conclusions that may or may not be accurate.

I don't mod the main forums but, thanks to everyone for keeping this thread courteous and objective.
