Hindenberg LZ-129 Plans

Hello--

Does anyone here know a source for Hindenburg plans/blueprints? I've searched the web and have only found graphic representations, but not anything with hard numbers or dimensions. I do have a large, coffee-table book on the ship which has a great cross section, but I'm looking for a little more detail...

Thanks,

I don't have plans for download at my site, but there is lots of info on modeling airships including some great reference info.

I'm amazed at how few books on airships contain any sort of drawings. They are quite rare! I have been looking everywhere to find whatever I can.

Right now, the best source of plans is from the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen Germany. They have a poster with complete original blueprints for something like $10. You can order online from their museum shop. (The link did not appear to be working at the time this message was posted.)

If you can't get those, there is a company on eBay that sells plans for building models of several different airships. They can be found here.

Hope that helps!
