Highlander Ramirez Photo's/Screen Grabs needed

I'm having a replica of Ramirez's outfit made and i desperately need some decent pictures of the detailing and trim, be it photo's or DVD screen grabs.

I've searched the internet and none of the images i found are that great.

Please help me if you can.

Ramirez? From Highlander? Put that in your title. It will help draw attention as a simple "Ramirez" may not.

I trolled for info on this character a while back with little to no luck. I did find this site http://www.naergilien.info/movies/Highlander/index.htm that has quite a few screengrabs.

Good luck on this project. I've been trying to talk my friend into doing it, but he's a lazy costumer.

I agree, you definitely need "Highlander" in your title. I thought maybe you were making some sort of steroid-based Manny Ramirez costume!!!!!

I saw that before the change and immediately though Manny as well.

And to the OP, he's one of the most famous baseball players for his performance on and off the field.
 
Though not pix of the screen costume this 1:6 scale has alot of details that can help you put it together. It's not an easy costume and if you DO do it. DO it in sections. The peacock coat and hat being last. In the movie he wears it differant ways and don't forget he also wore it in the second movie as well.

I was gonna have a seamstress do it and USED to have a ton of photos but she said it would cost at least 3G to make it but that included everything and that was 10 years ago.

Someone made this too. Though not Ramirezs outfit WAS inspired by it and should give you a good idea how many feathers it's gonna take to make the peacock cloak.

One of the tailors i contacted for a quote were the ones who made the original costume, although i didn't know it at the time, and they wanted £8,000.

The original was made from red suede, which is why it costs so much. Mine is being made from moleskin, which is a lot cheaper but has the same look. Also, it won't lose its colour like the suede would.

Thanks for the link, i've been trying to re-locate that website for the last year or so. I have a couple of those pictures and did send them to the tailor, as an example.

I won't be having the cloak and hat made, at least not for now.

I'm going to use a Kit Rae sword for the time being, or maybe my Marto in the Kit hanger.
I've found a stockist in the UK, so i won't have to worry about the import problems.

Well, if you DO get it made would love to see photos of it and a final cost on the project. At least you don't need full length pants as they are only calf length. ;)

The tailor will be starting work on it at the end of this month, they're pretty busy making costumes for renaissance faires at the moment.
