Highlander 2 sword

ok guys, i just sunk a nice chunk of change into some decent (not perfect) blades and attachments. i am attaching pictures of the Stokes handle i bought, with all its glory, its not finished, i need to clean it up and add the pins. i am going to start the blade testing process after the first few handles are done, i am using a few differant resins to get the best possible, strongest and lightest, but this is my favorite sword so far...

ok so the H2 handle i have already, not one of mine, i took a new blade, it had all the fittings already, steel fuchi and habaki, i attached habaki and added a little welders glue under neath to keep it in place, not a lot to make a mess, then i added the sepa with a dab of glue then the tsuba, then the other sepa. i waited for them to dry and set, im not looking to keep them from moving with the glue, just set them up, then i made 1 for 1 resin adhesive, pours like a gel, hardens like a kevlar steel, i poured it halfway into the handle, i took the handle and tapped it into place, it was a good tight fit already, the tang went to the head. i let it set over night. this morning i drilled halfway through the handle to the pre made holes in the tang. i use the original tang pins, just trimmed down, they fit tight also, then i used a resin fiberglass puddy to fill the hole over the tang pins and let them cure. so now i will lightly sand it down and add bit of water paint to make the tang area not noticable. and i think i have a fairly light and functional sword... and i think this is how i am going to go for my others...

How did you weather the handle?

I'm sure there is a thread on this board somewhere about that very subject but I cannot find anything on weathering faux ivory..
