HiC Control Panels - CNC'd From MDF?

I know that at least one member here has made a Han In Carbonite display and made his control panels from MDF that were carved out on a CNC machine. Although not 100% accurate, I think they looked outstanding and were good enough for me. I'm sure they could pass muster with all but the most obsessive HiC experts. With a little extra attention with some paint and some LED's, they could be made to look very impressive.

How many people have used this method, and are the CNC files available to be shared amongst the rest of us? If so, I would greatly appreciate them, Thanks!

I've looked through the HiC builders club, but did not see them there. Has anyone else done this?

I've seen a few also that looked fantastic had to be created by CNC, but that was a long time ago. Mine was not done that way and you can see it here Flickr: D. Nguyen's Photostream

I used reference pics I found at the Yahoo HIC builders group and some from the Rebelscum.com website.

You can see these panels painted up in my HIC build at WIP: Han in Carbonite. The madness finally begins!!

Wow, yours looks incredible dmaul! Great job and thanks for posting a build thread too-- I love when people do step-by-step progress threads documenting the steps they take. Thanks for posting your links!
