Does anyone happen ot have any really good shots of the Shannon Baska Mara Jade suit?
I've Googled and Googled and I have the ones out there, but nothing that really shows the suit,
or more specifically, the details on it.

Is it the black suit you are looking at?

When I made mine, I had a hard time finding hi rez pics and I ended up getting my hands on a copy of 'Star Wars Insider - Issue 47'. The image you see above is inside the mag, and fills a whole page. When the image is scanned it seems to be dark around the belt / holster / thigh area. If you look at the mag, you can make out a little more detail, but not much. Unfortunately there are still very few clear images that show the details on this costume, which is a shame :( The cover of the insider is also great as well.

Unless someone here has a good scanner and can get the details to show up well, I would suggest you try to track down a copy of the Insider. I don't have a very good scanner unfortunately, sorry.

Yeah, that's the suit. I've actually got your website bookmarked Starfire. :lol
I have the saber, boots and belt covered. I just need to find a close match for the fabric (I really like yours) and shinguards. My wife is pretty petite, so a set of kids baseball shinguards should suffice. I found a thread on theforce.net where one girl posted a link to the faux leather she used for hers. Very nice stuff. In the end, it's really up to the wife to decide which one she wants to go with. Do you happen to remember where you bought yours?

My fabric was a lucky find at a local store in Adelaide (Australia). I bought the last of it unfortunately, and it was pretty comfortable to wear because it's a 4 way stretch. I originally bought a one way stretch, but a friend told me that if I wanted to be able to sit comfortably to find something with more stretch. lol

However, its hard to find something with a lot of stretch and little or no shine. Keep an eye out though, it does exist somewhere.

Just make sure you don't fall for the classic 'pink cape' blunder.

When asked, the model confirmed the cape was indeed beige... it just looks pink-ish because of the lighting.
