Hi im Rj from Face off season two just registered and ...

Amazing! I love Face Off! I was hooked on it from the first season (just watched the newest ep tonight as a matter of fact...they finally booted Autumn!), but I'm embarrassed to admit that I can't recall exactly who you are, RJ. I'll have to Google you! Maybe it's just me, but some of these comments seem a bit on the rude side. Jealousy perhaps?

OK, I just looked you up and now I remember your awesome work! Didn't I see you at Monsterpalooza 2012 in Burbank? I so wanted to stop and say 'hi' but you were swamped with fans...if that was you!

That was me ! i was there only one day though! I plan to be there this year again say hello this time! :)

So, what's your preffered method for making helmets and armor? Sculpt, forge, pepakura, mold? Do you primarily concentrate on Masks and make-up? Any way welcome to the RPF.

I like vacuform for its ease and cost ... and sculpting molding and running fiberglass for heftier things ...

I havent tried pepakura yet ... i would like to experiment with that ...

I do everything ... i cant concentrate on anything ... if i want something ... I make it :love

Welcome aboard from another fan of the show. I just discovered it a few weeks ago. I'll need to look you up and see what you did. Hope you will post some pics of your work on here. Message boarding is fun! You run into a lot of different types of folks here, talented artists, up and coming newbies, people wanting to learn, armchair critics, etc. All in all, a great bunch of people here on the RPF. Browse the other topic areas as well, lots of other good stuff to see here!!

hi! have to say your Burtonesque creation was my favorite! loved your work and I think it is awesome that you're sharing your experiences with us!

Oh bugger, I hate finding out about conventions in my town after they've happened! Oh well, gearing up for a new one next weekend here in StL :)

Glad to see you here, the Tim Burtonesque challenge was one of my favorites as well. I don't know about sculpting or prosthetics - yet -, but this forum is such a huge inspiration and I'm looking to learn this skill to further advance my costuming. Always glad to see more talented people join :)

Welcome to the board, we are a Face Off loving family. Can't wait to see some of the stuff you're working on now.

Enjoyed your work on the show. Welcome to the RPF!

I'm a big fan of vacuform myself (doing Star Wars characters it helps!)
I've not had much luck with fiberglass myself though.
