Hercules Mace

Hi guy's

I thought I would share one of my new builds. A friend of mine who has one of my Thor Hammers asked me to build him a Hercules Mace, done in the style seen in the comics.

After some research, I found a few pics to get started.

It was a pretty quick to draw it up in my CAD:


My friend wants a specific look so I'm letting him choose any custom designs he wants. We agreed to make it out of tough
ASB/resin. For the colour we might either cold cast or use paint/weathering.

We decided to size the mace around the size of the Thor Hammer


The next stage is to design the wiring/circuit
for the red LED's

I've been working with my machinist supplier to cost out the one off build. For the internal circuits (red lights), after a few tests I ended up going with 2 * rear Red bike lights. Each one has 10 LED's with multiple flashing/constant settings. The effect should be quite good.

The drawing of it looks really cool. I'm excited to see the finished product!

Been a while. Started colour testing & am happy with the combination of paints for the gold.
