Help with Starting my first project: Dragon Priest masks from Skyrim

So it's been a while since I have done any sculpting. Almost 10 years since I got out of college.

I want to get back into it and I've decided to work my way up to something grand by first starting with something I'm interested in. The Dragon Priest masks from Skyrim seem to be pretty popular and pretty cool.

Now this is what I'm hoping to get some help with.

What am I going to need in terms of materials to sculpt one to pull molds off from? It's been so many years now I feel like I'm really out of the loop as far as it goes with new materials and techniques. What should my primary sculpting medium be? What will work best to pull my molds with? Ideas on how I should approach it?

I feel like I'm putting on an old pair of boots I have not worn in years. They seem familiar but my everything is off slightly.

I myself sculpted a dragon priest mask as well
the clay i used was Chavant nsp, i like to use medium because its a good balance between being firm and soft enough to work with as you can heat it up to soften it! Also the fact that it has no sulfur in it means it can be moulded with silicone, i personally dont use any of smooth on's stuff but apparently its very good, might be good to try a couple of their trial kits first!
