Hello,
I recently purchased a NASA Type 1 flight jacket from Lunareplicas, and I'm having trouble sourcing a reasonably correct name tag for it. I have lots of source pictures for the one I want, but two different sources have let me down in a variety of ways - font is wrong (I don't seem to have any choice!), spacing is not correct, the gold lettering is printed rather than embossed, and the finish makes the badge look very plastic-y.
Some companies have decent looking leather, but will only sell you badges with wings, which I don't want in this case.
Here's what I'm after:
Here's a variant of what I get:
(I did ask for both lines to be centered, and added a lot of extra spaces in the second line and none in the first line, so I figured they'd keep my initials and last name together!)
Does anyone know of a company who does an embossed name badge with reasonable quality leather who will lay out the type the way I would like it?
