Hey guys

I recently got a T4BB/Rick Ross special edition PKD kit from a member here

its a thing of beauty (i'm in the process of cleaning it up some before the

paint and finishing touches)

now the write up says 24 gauge solid wire (so i know what i need) the

instruction just say to hook up the wire then test it and then fill the cavity

where the L.E.D.s and wire rest with hot glue to insulate the wires. Now

heres my question should i do what the instruction say (just get what i

assume is an un-insulated wire) then fill it with hot glue to insulate it or

should i try and find an insulated wire.on a side note if i should go with a

insulated wire what brand is the best for this kind of stuff (can you tell i'm

not an expert on this subject :))thanks in advance for any

help. :thumbsup

Yeah, best to use an insulated wire. If bare wires touch you may fry your LEDs or other electronics. I typicaly use a stranded wire (many smaller wires twisted together) of the same guage as it is more flexable than a solid wire. I get mine from the model railroad section of the hobby shop. They have a better selection than what stores like RadioShack have. A 15ft roll will run about 6-8 dollars.
