Hey guys, I'm working on Iron Man's arm and gloves for my Punisher cosplay, but I have no ideia how to make battle damage effects, especially about the painting. I'm working on cardboard that I have already painted in shine black (which will be the final color), and I'm gonna put some details like buttons, wires and cables to make it appear that it was found in a battleground or something like that, based in photos of Age of Ultron trailers and in Iron Man 3 movie to add these details. Thank you!

Short version: repaint in silver. Add mustard to where you want battle damage to show. Paint in final color. Let paint dry. Wipe off mustard.
