HELP: Source for leather strips

Guys/Gals,

I am looking for a leather strip to go on the bottom of my Vader cape. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on where I can get a piece of leather long enough to do the bottom of the cape or will I need to join a few pieces together?

How long is the bottom edge of the cape?

I'll wager a guess that you'd need to join a few pieces as leather hides are only so big. unless they make genetic super cows...
