Help needed identifying the base for this custom helmet

Hey guys! I'm hoping someone can help identify what was used for this helmet. If you have any ideas or know of something that might work I'd really appreciate it!

That looks a lot like a full face skydiving helmet. The shape of the body, high periphery visor, I had a Phantom that was VERY similar to that. Bad news is they are pretty pricey, like $300+ IIRC

What is that from?

Not sure, but it's a Chinese film from what the commissioner said. It's why we're having trouble figuring out if it was a lightly modified piece or a more involved job :)

Thanks for that info! I didn't consider that possibility :) I'll have a look around and see what I can find!

I was thinking of sports that are played laying down, such as the downhill skateboard or the luge. You definitely need a low visor for those.

It's that high dome that's the problem. Looking at that thing, it doesn't look like it's going to give any impact protection. I was wondering if it was something like a full-face shield canted back with a custom frame around it, but the dome has too much curve for that.

I really appreciate the insight folks! I think the info and ideas shared will help a lot in trying to replicate it :)
