Help Identifying / Locating Prop Aluminum Jug

[Mad Max Cars]

The Aluminum Jugs / Bottles appear in the passenger floor board of the Mad Max 2 / The Roadwarrior version of the Black Interceptor, as well as other films if I understand correctly. They were originally contained some chemical. Any additional information on their origin, or a good source for obtaining a handful of them would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

They were some kind of chemical jug. They apparently are available in the USA as well as other places. Beyond that I don't have much information.

As for what they are exactly, I've no idea. I found nothing similar. For the smaller one there was a 2L beer 'bottlecan' but it had a seam around the top. Search for 'aluminium seamless bottle'.

Very much something like those from that website. I will have to dig deeper. Not sure of the exact capacity but looks to be 1 gal or so. Maybe 4L. I will see what more I can dig up. Still that link looks to be a valuable resource. Thank you!

I suppose those big ones could be close to 7" in diameter, but that seems a little big when looking at the pics...?

Hard to tell for sure. 7" seems easily posdivle, maybe even bigger or the correct ones under the dash.
