I have two castings I picked up on eBay about 8 or so years ago. Wondering if anyone can help with any info on origins or sculptors. Note: I'm not interested in selling either one.
The first is a head of Chewbacca in fiberglass. It is about 1/2 scale and roughly 16 inches tall. If I remember correctly the auction said it was 1/3 and I was surprised how large it was when it arrived. I believe it came from the UK, but I could be wrong. Curious if anyone knows the origin or sculptor. I love it, it is very episode 4 in feeling. I think it was also advertised as a reject casting because there are a lot bubble holes and damage around the eyes. All stuff I can fix.
The second is a Rancor head, no idea on scale. It is made of foam filled latex and measures about 12 inches high and 7 inches deep. I think it came out of California, but again I may be way off.
I personally haven't seen the another Chewbacca show up anywhere else. The Rancor was popping up on eBay for awhile after I got mine, but I haven't seen that one for sometime either.
I just want to know more about these and maybe who made them. See photos.
