For the Graflex Experts,

Could anybody help in identifying this particular hilt?

Did you remove the kobold and look at the stamping? Does the bunny ear rivet have a hex drive
I'm the chap who originally posted this to Reddit. Finally got around to making an account here. Big thanks to MojaveTrooper for posting this for me in the first place.

In response to your questions, I have three new photos. No sign of any hex drive on the rivet. I'm not sure what I'm looking for on the stamping, so took photos.

If you grab the top of the bunny ear rivet with a pair of pliers and twist, does it unscrew? From the photos above from KhyleWolf it looks like it probably does. TGS rivets have threads and screw into place, even if it doesn't have a hex drive.

The bottom stamping looks legit, but something about the finish is throwing me off. It looks too shiny and the stamping looks to clean to be a Folmer no pat, but I could be wrong.

If I had to guess, I would say you have a TGS replica, but even then the clamp screw is not normal. Let me know about the bunny ear rivet, that will help.

I'm pretty sure that stamping is romans. It looks to have RE in the trademark stamping.

Yup! 100% right, I totally missed the R.E in the trademark.

Definitely have a Roman's bottom. And now on second look, the S curve on this one is very shallow, which makes me think the top is a Romans Gen 1, and somebody at some point upgraded the bunny ear rivet to one without the hex.

I thought it was a gen1 Roman’s.. that red button 100% is a Roman’s gen1 button

But the rivet in the bunny ears was confusing me, back then we were using TGS upgraded rivets and replacing the Roman’s because Roman used a hex key
