Help finding Iran Navy button

Hi. I was hoping somebody here might be able to help me with this. A have a friend who is trying to restore her fathers military uniform. It's an Iran Navy uniform. It was missing some buttons and she was hoping we could replicate them with 3D printing or casting one and making a copy. Which we could do, but one better would be having the actual thing. I've been trying to track down what it would be called in Persian or other names for it but without much luck.

I do know it was made by Bomisa Milano, which appears to be an Italian company. I believe they are gold plated. Seem to be made in four parts. The front, back, side and loop. Key words seem to be Iran Navy Persia Pahlavi.

I snapped a couple pictures today when she showed me but I still haven't seen the whole uniform.

Plan B is to cast it, paint it and gold leaf it, but the cost of getting those materials seems like it might be more than if I could just find a replacement.

Google "Persian pahlavi navy button", that seems to be the one.

Nevermind, seems they only pop up very rarely in auctions

other option might be to look for another uniform and swap the buttons

Yeah, came up with those results before. But I don't think I looked closely enough that that necklace that comes up. Looks like it's actually made from a button. Contacted the seller to see if they make them themselves and if it's possible to get a button before being made into a necklace.

Yeah, that's the new plan B now. I'm guessing it's soldered on, but I've got a blow torch and flux. Maybe a soldering iron might work too. Hopefully the don't cut open the back and it's just replacing the loop.

That all sounds easier than casting it and trying to find something to cover it in that passes as metal. We were talking about if we would need to replace all the buttons so they matched. I could cast it in bronze but I think the buttons are hollow so it would be much heavier.

The store's area code seems to be from California, so hopefully they get back in a day or so. Fingers crossed they make them there and it's no problem to get a couple buttons pre-necklace.

Could still use some help here if anybody has any leads. We found one jewelry store that we thought had 6 buttons which would have been enough, but it turned out three of them were the wrong size. So we still need at least 1 button.

Also, sounds like they never sent him his hat to go with his uniform, so if anybody has any leads for that.

This is the Iranian/Persian military under the Pahlavi dynasty. These are Navy buttons, but apparently there are two sizes. This is from the 60s/70s. I don't believe it's an officers jacket. The buttons I believe are 2.1mm in diameter. about 0.6mm thick before the loop on the back.
