Im lookin at a deal for a don post Boba Fett helmet for 50 what do you think is it worth it keep in mind i dont have one and would just like a decent looking one so my question is Does this helmet look good enough or was thinking of taking out the visor and cutting it and put a good visor in????

It all depends on how serious you are.
If you just want a helmet, the DP is ok. Years ago it was "THE" helmet.
My, times have changed.
It also depends on which year DP it is;
95 green interior-good
95 white interior-better
96-good
97-total AZZ
All of those have been modded extensively in the past & they have had decent to good results.
But...
a SGT Fang is onl like 100 bucks (if you can reach him) and there are far better helmets than the DP out there for slightly higher. Especially if you plan on costuming or even going for accuracy.

My opinion as a Boba dress-up guy who like accuracy;
Stay away frrom the DP

i recommend getting the fang helmet for 50 more.

My brother owned the don post. It was cheap and inaccurate. My brother tried fixing it up by cutting the visor part and replacing it. He also repainted it. It looks okay but you can still tell it is a post helmet.

its a 95 green interior
Sgt fang im gonna have to do a quick search to check his out thanks for the advice i would rather spend the extra and get an accurate helmet thanks guys

It depends on how accurate you want to look. Also the DP is on the small side. So if your a small person then a repaint and switch out the visor would be okay for a Halloween costume.

As for the other Fett helmets well.......... i'll just step aside for the Boba Fett experts to chime in:):thumbsup
There are few here and on TDH that can give you a "world" of info on everthing Fett.

Sorry no punctuation, my mind rambles on and on, and it carries on in what I write. Thanks for all the help guys I think I will try to get a Sgt. Fang.

I agree completely. I was given a DP Boba helmet several years ago (95, green vinyl). I'm 6'1" and it really looks small on me. For anyone taller than, say, 5'7", I'd recommend the Sgt. Fang helmet.
