Help... Batman Cowl Shrunk

So, about a year ago I got an Arkham Origins style cowl from Axis Props (I believe that was the name) and it’s a great cowl, it fit great, but I went to put it on recently, and it shrunk down to fit a 22 inch head size. I’m confused about how my cowl shrunk an inch and a half, and if there’s a way to fix it? I believe it’s urethane. Thanks

Was it stored someplace where it got cold? If so, that might have contributed.

In any case, I would recommend putting it near an artificial heat source (like a heat vent or radiator) for a few days. That might relax it a bit to the point where it will fit again.
