I realise this is a long shot, but my wife just bought me a new mini lathe for our anniversary and I would love to try and turn one out of ally but I haven't a clue what the dimensions would be. Now I know that people keep this kind of thing very, very close to their chests, and I have looked around including here but I couldn't find anything, which is probably just me. Any help would be awesome as I would love to do a little thread and hear what you guys think as I build, and your help / critique would be more than welcome.
